Copper Strip Corrosion Test Bomb

This device is designed for detecting elemental and corrosive sulfur in gasoline and other petroleum products. It features a durable tube closed at one end and bottom-weighted for stability. A threaded cap with a sulfur-free synthetic gasket ensures a secure seal, while a vertical slot cut across the threads allows for the gradual release of pressure during disassembly, preventing accidental blow-off after heating. The bomb is rigorously tested to withstand a maximum pressure of 100 psi.
Supplied with a threaded cap, this unit does not include copper strips, a strip holder, or a test tube liner.
